Fri, 07 Nov 2008 20:43:07 +0000 Uncategorized, Conflict Resolution Stimulate positive emotions to resolve conflicts Mental health professionals have discovered an important principal that should be used when attempting to resolve conflicts or settle disputes with others. Simply put, conflicts can resolved more successfully when reason and emotion are taken into account. To try to solve an emotional issue with logic alone is often very ineffective and frustrating. We are [...]
Sat, 01 Nov 2008 16:54:44 +0000 Self Help Angry people often try to control the uncontrollable Much anger in the world is generated by people trying to control or change other people who do not wish to be controlled or changed. Rather than thinking in terms of control, think instead of other methods of influencing others such as: persuading, educating, rewarding, enticing, compromising, being a positive role model, advising, urging or [...]
Thu, 30 Oct 2008 19:06:20 +0000 Quick Anger Tips Use humor and laughter to diffuse anger Humor is a powerful strategy to lower your stress level, dissolve anger and give you new ways to view situations and thus new ways to respond. Often mood is elevated just in the process of striving to find humor in difficult and frustrating situations. Laughing at ourselves and the situation helps reveal that small things [...]
Mon, 27 Oct 2008 20:11:20 +0000 Myths of Marriage Understanding marriage behavior doesn’t solve problems Often couples spend hoiur after hour trying to understand each other or the root of a problem or issue that bothers them. Sometimes this is helpful, but more often than not, understanding a marital issue doesn’t necessarily provide the tools to change it. Take the case of Karen who become terrified every time husband Ted yells [...]
Mon, 27 Oct 2008 19:56:49 +0000 Uncategorized, Myths of Marriage Treat spouse as you would a friend As an experienced marriage therapist as well as anger management trainer, I am often amazed at how badly people in relationship treat each other in comparison to how they treat their co-workers or same-sex friends. Things sometimes get to the point of contempt, which is a major predictor of divorce, according to recent research the [...]

The Anger Coach Marriage Breakthrough Seminar®
by Michele Weiner-Davis
Presented and facilitated by Dr. Tony Fiore, Certified Group Leader, psychologist and anger management expert.

The Marriage Breakthrough relationship enrichment program was developed by Michelle Weiner-Davis. It is based on the idea that people want solutions to their relationship dilemmas, not a deeper understanding of why they keep getting stuck in relationship ruts. Unlike other relationship programs, this seminar won’t drag you into the past in order to change the future. It won’t ask you to dissect the problems in your life. And most importantly, it won’t require that you wait a long time to see positive results.
The Marriage Breakthrough® program is designed to help you become your own relationship expert within a few short weeks. You will be offered a blueprint for handling conflict constructively and breaking free from unproductive and hurtful ways of interacting. You will be able to put the methods to use immediately.
The Marriage Breakhrough Program® is for people who:
- Want to feel even closer to their partners
- Keep arguing about the same old subjects
- Want tools for breaking free from relationship ruts
- Feel hopeless and are considering breakup, separation, or divorce
- Pre-marital couples who want to make sure their foundation is solid before taking the plunge.
There are a couple more things you need to know about this program. Although it is commonly believed that women are the ones to initiate plans to attend a relationship skill-building class, this is not necessarily so when it comes to the Marriage Breaktrhough® program. That’s because it truly is “male-friendly.” In fact, men rave about it. This is great news because it means that women won’t have to coerce their husbands or boyfriends to participate.
And, the other piece of good news is that the Marriage Breakthrough® program is designed to be effective even if only one partner is willing to attend. In other words, it teaches members how one person can improve his or her relationship singlehandedly! So, you can register and perhaps improve things even if your partner does not want to participate.
What You Can expect To Learn from The Program:
